What is HAp?

Our teeth are a complex structure made up of many different parts. HAp is one of the building blocks that make up your tooth, enamel, dentin and cementum. Hydroxyapatite is a naturally occurring mineral of calcium that makes up 97% of your tooth enamel. As the main component of tooth enamel, Hydroxyapatite can chemically bind to teeth and act as a shield. It helps build your enamel and strengthen it. Strong healthy tooth enamel is an important part of good dental health.
